Kranji Crunchy's Anwar Antoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bairon Andonaegui in the 28th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnaldo Neil to make the kick off. Armand Hadikusuma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Demetrio Amesti made a huge save. With a little luck, C.F. Leftraro's Demetrio Amesti got control of the ball when Armand Hadikusuma tried to sneak it across the goal line. Demetrio Amesti was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Kamarudin Pangalila capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kamarudin Pangalila really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. In the 72nd minute of the match, Kamarudin Pangalila tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Demetrio Amesti saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Anwar Antoni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bairon Andonaegui went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Igor Del Real managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.F. Leftraro's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Del Real was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anwar Antoni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Kranji Crunchy's Khusnul Kertaradjasa got a free kick in the 90th minute.
