Rafael Mascarañas charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The crowd rose to their feet as Leon Sport Club's Adriano Teixeira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eder Moraes. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. Eder Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Eder Moraes was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Anderson Gerber capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anderson Gerber really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. With a little luck, MILLONARIOS FC's Eder Moraes got control of the ball when Anderson Gerber tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rafael Benítez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Argoitz Marichalar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Micky Van De Ven hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After 33 played minutes, Leon Sport Club's Cauan Garcia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eder Moraes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leon Sport Club reached it. Eder Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriano Teixeira's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. The Leon Sport Club fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Leon Sport Club's Anderson Gerber looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 43rd minute, Argoitz Marichalar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, MILLONARIOS FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Adriano Teixeira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to MILLONARIOS FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Stanislao Brau hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adriano Teixeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Argoitz Marichalar made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Leon Sport Club's Rafael Benítez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st minute, Argoitz Marichalar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eder Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adriano Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eder Moraes having to interfere. The Leon Sport Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Anderson Gerber blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eder Moraes having to make a save. Stanislao Brau kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Adriano Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Eder Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronaldo Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute.
