Plebeyos's Carlos Manuel Goyeneche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Mede in the 54th minute of play. Carlos Manuel Goyeneche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Rafel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prospero Curcio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Hitz in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Plebeyos's Luis María Rodriguez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Prospero Curcio. Prospero Curcio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Plebeyos's Moises Escobar was substituted for Alejo Heli. After a rather tough play, Plebeyos's Fabricio Sanduru got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 72 minutes, Ramiro Pietro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plebeyos and the C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo players grew even worse after the yellow card. 76 minutes into the match, Plebeyos's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Mede came free, but Carlos Manuel Goyeneche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Palban in the 80th minute of play forced Plebeyos's goalkeeper Carlos Manuel Goyeneche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquilino Egoi kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Efrain Bras charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efrain Bras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 92 minutes into the match, Vladimiro Lucero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Manuel Goyeneche. Plebeyos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vladimiro Lucero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.
