After 2 played minutes West Town SC got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Arrillaga. The supporters of West Town SC booed when MILLONARIOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferman Arrieta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 9 minutes, Fabio Arrillaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West Town SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Arrillaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ledesma Caicedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Argoitz Marichalar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Obi Blue in the 14th minute of play forced MILLONARIOS FC's goalkeeper Tiago Quiñones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeo Santisso got free with Ledesma Caicedo in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, West Town SC's Venceslao Beite got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, MILLONARIOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cain Blue came free, but Tiago Quiñones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Obi Blue in the 46th minute of play forced MILLONARIOS FC's goalkeeper Tiago Quiñones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 49th minute Obi Blue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Quiñones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Cain Blue in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tiago Quiñones, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to West Town SC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Johnny Posadas hit a great ball. Ledesma Caicedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argoitz Marichalar, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. MILLONARIOS FC's Amadeo Santisso got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th match minute, West Town SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neicer Pesquera to maneuver through the defense. Xoan Giraldo, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 70 minutes into the match, West Town SC's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Santisso came free, but Ledesma Caicedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st match minute, West Town SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnny Posadas to maneuver through the defense. During the 88th minute of the match Neicer Pesquera completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Neicer Pesquera a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 90th minute of the match Rafael Mascarañas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ledesma Caicedo skillfully saved the ball. Venceslao Beite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Obi Blue in the 94th minute of play forced MILLONARIOS FC's goalkeeper Tiago Quiñones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. West Town SC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
