Spectators: 7760 (Terracing: 5821, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luis María Rodriguez started the match with the kick off. Alfaro Moreno took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ledesma Caicedo. Ledesma Caicedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Luis María Rodriguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Manuel Goyeneche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Obi Blue's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. The audience was convinced that Obi Blue's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Manuel Goyeneche was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. West Town SC's Obi Blue got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 18 played minutes Plebeyos got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Medardo. Ledesma Caicedo came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Plebeyos's Alfaro Moreno. But to his dismay, Alfaro Moreno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Carlos Manuel Goyeneche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cain Blue, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When Iker Lluciano fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Plebeyos's protests and gave Iker Lluciano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of West Town SC booed when Plebeyos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Lluciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillermo Raiz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Manuel Goyeneche. Plebeyos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Obi Blue to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Obi Blue tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carlos Manuel Goyeneche saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Plebeyos's Carlos Manuel Goyeneche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Obi Blue in the 53rd minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Obi Blue notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Plebeyos's Carlos Manuel Goyeneche. Carlos Manuel Goyeneche was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 67th minute, Xulio Barroiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Plebeyos made a substitution. Moises Escobar replaced Alejo Heli. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfaro Moreno in the 69th minute of play forced West Town SC's goalkeeper Ledesma Caicedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Arrillaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Moises Socorro fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Plebeyos's protests and gave Moises Socorro a yellow card for diving instead. 77 minutes into the match, West Town SC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis María Rodriguez came free, but Ledesma Caicedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. West Town SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guillermo Raiz in the 81st minute. Guillermo Raiz made a great header on West Town SC's corner, it was just that Plebeyos's Carlos Manuel Goyeneche managed to reach the ball for a save. Ledesma Caicedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis María Rodriguez in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of West Town SC booed when Plebeyos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Socorro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Carlos Manuel Goyeneche successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cain Blue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. West Town SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
