Fisica UNT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Marini couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Aesir FC FSCMZ getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. André Luís Loureiro hit a great ball. After 25 played minutes Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT got a freekick which was hit by Saul Maureo. Gerson Viana was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcelino Panfilo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. In the 31st minute Hélio Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Lidon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes in the game, Juan Pablo Gallinas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gerson Viana having to interfere. Alberto Lidon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélio Cosme in the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomás Marini was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Hélio Cosme took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Alberto Lidon to make any attempt to save it. Juan Pablo Gallinas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Lidon was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Hélio Cosme capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hélio Cosme really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. The supporters of Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT booed when Aesir FC FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélio Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 played minutes Aesir FC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Sá. Rigoberto Xacintu, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 77 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Xacintu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aesir FC FSCMZ the free kick. After a rather tough play, Aesir FC FSCMZ's André Luís Loureiro got a free kick in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Aesir FC FSCMZ's zone, Rigoberto Xacintu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerson Viana came out of the goal and Rigoberto Xacintu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerson Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Pablo Gallinas in the 84th minute of the match. When Juan Pablo Gallinas came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Pablo Gallinas couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Aesir FC FSCMZ defense, Tomás Marini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerson Viana. The Aesir FC FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerson Viana should have stopped the shot.
