In the 31stth minute of the game Marcelino Batista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canarinho Atordoado's Luís Gustavo Souza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Canarinho Atordoado's Luiz Guilherme do Nascimento got a free kick in the 38th minute. When Agustin Basso fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Academia FC's protests and gave Agustin Basso a yellow card for diving instead. Agustin Basso hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Academia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canarinho Atordoado the free kick. The referee showed Elói Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Academia FC booed when Canarinho Atordoado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elói Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Jorge Martxot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 88 played minutes Canarinho Atordoado got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Favoretto. Canarinho Atordoado's Luís Gustavo Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Isidor in the 90th minute of play. Elói Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angel Etxeberri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elói Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Academia FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Delmiro Quico hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Favoretto in the 95th minute of play forced Academia FC's goalkeeper Angel Etxeberri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Federico Nicholas kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
