In the 10th minute, Federico Nicholas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Braulio Quinito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 11 minutes, Gogo Bixintxo made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Academia FC's Angel Etxeberri tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Angel Etxeberri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Bixintxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emilio Lonzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Batista in the 17th minute of the match. Angel Etxeberri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Fernendo in the 25th minute of play. Angel Etxeberri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gogo Bixintxo went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Fausto Argider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Martxot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Emilio Lonzo made a huge save. After 37 played minutes Academia FC got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Basso. Maximo Gau hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute Jorge Martxot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Lonzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Martxot was the one to do the kick off. Emilio Lonzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Martxot in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Alejandra's Diego Lartaun got a free kick in the 52nd minute. German Fernendo hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Angel Etxeberri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Bixintxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62ndth minute of the game Gogo Bixintxo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia FC's Angel Etxeberri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernan Maurino in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angel Etxeberri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 68 minutes into the match, Alejandra's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Martxot came free, but Emilio Lonzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Alejandra's Gogo Bixintxo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Angel Etxeberri. Angel Etxeberri yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. The supporters of Academia FC booed when Alejandra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Berto didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Martxot in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emilio Lonzo saved Alejandra from getting behind. If Marcelino Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gogo Bixintxo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Angel Etxeberri made a huge save. 91 minutes into the game, Jorge Martxot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Emilio Lonzo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute Federico Nicholas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Lonzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
