Ingvar Granberg scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roland Lisewski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Algot Grönberg charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Algot Grönberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Wypyszek booed when Degerfors IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Algot Grönberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernard Wawro got free with Eric Ivarsson in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, FC Wypyszek's Zenon Miecznikowski got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 31 played minutes FC Wypyszek got a freekick which was hit by Roman Nieruchliwy. Roland Lisewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helge Alberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the match, David Dahlberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roland Lisewski. FC Wypyszek's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Dahlberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Bartlomiej Harbaszewski kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, FC Wypyszek's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Granberg came free, but Roland Lisewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florian Cwynar to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Cwynar in the 51st minute of play forced Degerfors IF's goalkeeper Eric Ivarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd minute, Ingvar Granberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roland Lisewski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Roland Lisewski was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and David Dahlberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. David Dahlberg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Thanks to some nice moves David Dahlberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Roland Lisewski however easily saved by the left post. Torsten Kock's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roland Lisewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, FC Wypyszek's goal looked a bit too open when Agne Widberg came free, but Roland Lisewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 minutes of play, FC Wypyszek's Lech Gall made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Ivarsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 69 minutes into the match, FC Wypyszek's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Kock came free, but Roland Lisewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, FC Wypyszek's Roland Lisewski got control of the ball when Agne Widberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Dahlbergs short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Roland Lisewski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, FC Wypyszek's Lech Gall got a free kick in the 84th minute. Roland Lisewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsten Kock in the 89th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves David Dahlberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Roland Lisewski however easily saved by the left post. When the match was over Degerfors IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Wypyszek throughout the match.
