Spectators: 7728 (Terracing: 5797, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cătălin Octavian took the kick off in the first half of the match. Los Frogos's Christopher Mattsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cătălin Octavian in the 12th minute of play. Christopher Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxim Rioşanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oskar Björkkvist during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cătălin Octavian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Christopher Mattsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of ASF BAIA MARE -MM- booed when Los Frogos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Östensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maxim Rioşanu scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christopher Mattsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Los Frogos getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Torbjörn Springfält hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the game, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Maxim Rioşanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christopher Mattsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 35th play minutes Maxim Rioşanu shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Christopher Mattsson and just under the crossbar into goal. 38 minutes into the match, Maxim Rioşanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christopher Mattsson. Los Frogos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maxim Rioşanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The Los Frogos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ASF BAIA MARE -MM- were winning 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Folke Hamnberg to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cătălin Octavian in the 52nd minute of play forced Los Frogos's goalkeeper Christopher Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radu Moldovan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torbjörn Springfält hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Christopher Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cătălin Octavian, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Cătălin Octavian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christopher Mattsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cătălin Octavian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christopher Mattsson was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. After 73 played minutes Los Frogos got a freekick which was hit by Simon Björkqvist. Christopher Mattsson made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Cătălin Octavian sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cătălin Octavian in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christopher Mattsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Marian Rădescu got a free kick in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ASF BAIA MARE -MM- eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
