The referee showed Elvio Olo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 15 minutes into the game, when Andres Leoncio put in a rough tackle. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Eléctricos F.C.. Rodney Durante stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Domingo Serafo. 0-1. Roman Suarbol's late challenge caught a Palermo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roman Suarbol helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd match minute, Eléctricos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Suarbol to maneuver through the defense. After 47 played minutes Eléctricos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Noceda. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roman Suarbol was the one to do the kick off. The Palermo AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Eléctricos F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
