Luís Gustavo Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corneliu Cismaș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sérgio Quintal kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ALMA GUERREIRA's Ronaldo Souza got a free kick in the 26th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Gigel Curteanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Navigatii Bacău's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gigel Curteanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ALMA GUERREIRA's Luís Gustavo Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Zăraşcu in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Şneapotă in the 31st minute of play forced ALMA GUERREIRA's goalkeeper Luís Gustavo Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Navigatii Bacău's goal looked a bit too open when Joel da Silva came free, but Costin Răchitan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th match minute, ALMA GUERREIRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. Luís Gustavo Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remus Zăraşcu in the 39th minute of play. Ulisses Vinhas's late challenge caught a Navigatii Bacău's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulisses Vinhas helped the player get up and apologised. Navigatii Bacău's Vintilă Cerghizan was substituted for Gigel Curteanu. After a rather tough play, ALMA GUERREIRA's Ulisses Vinhas got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eric Şneapotă stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Vali Moșanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eric Şneapotă in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Gustavo Pirani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eric Şneapotă had several of the ALMA GUERREIRA's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Luís Gustavo Pirani as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 56th minute, Dumitru Oardă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrianinho Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Costin Răchitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Gustavo Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vintilă Cerghizan in the 68th minute of play. Vintilă Cerghizan kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. When Adrianinho Botelho came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the ALMA GUERREIRA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrianinho Botelho couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the match, ALMA GUERREIRA's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Şneapotă came free, but Luís Gustavo Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulisses Vinhas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Costin Răchitan. Navigatii Bacău's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Joel da Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Navigatii Bacău's Costin Răchitan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléberson Tande in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Navigatii Bacău's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ulisses Vinhas was slow to take the kick. During this time ALMA GUERREIRA's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Ulisses Vinhas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Navigatii Bacău's Costin Răchitan did a great save. Corneliu Cismaș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Luís Gustavo Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Navigatii Bacău walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
