Tião Marinho scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joffre Viñambres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubarna Varsana in the 6th minute of play forced ALMA GUERREIRA's goalkeeper Vito Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 played minutes ALMA GUERREIRA got a freekick which was hit by Luizão Quirino. In the 13th minute, Ubarna Varsana fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vito Cearense, passed just outside the right post. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Roman Suarbol put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vito Cearense. Roman Suarbol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Vito Cearense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sotomayor Sanes hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ubarna Varsana in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vito Cearense saved ALMA GUERREIRA from getting behind. A nice corner shot did that Rodney Durante got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vito Cearense quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Joffre Viñambres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Valentim Uja suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tião Marinho during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Eléctricos F.C. booed when ALMA GUERREIRA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tião Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute Luizão Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joffre Viñambres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roman Suarbol in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vito Cearense saved ALMA GUERREIRA from getting behind. Vito Cearense made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Roman Suarbol sent off a good shot on target. In a very dangerous position, a player in Eléctricos F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! The referee gave ALMA GUERREIRA a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luizão Quirino, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Eléctricos F.C.'s Joffre Viñambres. 1-2. After 45 played minutes Eléctricos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ubarna Varsana. Joffre Viñambres came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by ALMA GUERREIRA's Marco Prestes. But to his dismay, Marco Prestes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Prestes was the one to do the kick off. 50 minutes into the game, José Madureira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ALMA GUERREIRA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eléctricos F.C. the free kick. José Madureira hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Vito Cearense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Suarbol, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute Edwin Verdes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito Cearense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Suarbol took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vito Cearense. Vito Cearense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráusio Valladares in the 67th minute of play forced Eléctricos F.C.'s goalkeeper Joffre Viñambres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, ALMA GUERREIRA's Marco Prestes got a free kick in the 68th minute. Vito Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Suarbol in the 69th minute of the match. Vito Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubarna Varsana in the 70th minute of play. Vito Cearense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubarna Varsana, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Cristian Clusella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Vito Cearense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiaguinho Paranaense charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiaguinho Paranaense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes ALMA GUERREIRA got a freekick which was hit by Tiaguinho Paranaense. When Luizão Quirino fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ALMA GUERREIRA's protests and gave Luizão Quirino a yellow card for diving instead. ALMA GUERREIRA played a much better game than Eléctricos F.C. and deserved their victory. The Eléctricos F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
