Palermo AFC's Marcelino Polentzi got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Ozanköy u21 booed when Palermo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Leoncio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes Ozanköy u21 got a freekick which was hit by Sungurhan Temren. In the 29th match minute, Ozanköy u21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafer Salman to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ozanköy u21's zone, Gaston Claris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Turan Olguner came out of the goal and Gaston Claris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 37 played minutes Ozanköy u21 got a freekick which was hit by Abbas Korhan. In the 38th minute of the match Elvio Olo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Turan Olguner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Anselmo Astudillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Turan Olguner having to interfere. Marcelino Polentzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Onurhan Sanih stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Gaston Claris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Turan Olguner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ozanköy u21's Ahmet Turan Olguner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Ozanköy u21 from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute, Gaston Claris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Turan Olguner was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ahmet Turan Olguner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Olo in the 86th minute of play. If Gaston Claris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 96 minutes of play, Ozanköy u21's Sungurhan Temren made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Domingo Serafo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Palermo AFC played a much better game than Ozanköy u21 and deserved their victory. The Ozanköy u21 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
