In the 16th minute of the match, Esteve Toribio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Karol Kopacz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 18 minutes into the match, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goal looked a bit too open when Czeslaw Skrzypiec came free, but Elvio Osorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Esteve Toribio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karol Kopacz. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. When Benedykt Siembab came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Gortaty fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedykt Siembab couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute, Isaias Baladi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Esteve Toribio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Karol Kopacz. That made the score 2-0 after 28 minutes of play. Eleuterio Sarracino struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Karol Kopacz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olimpo de Bahia Blanca. 32 minutes into the match, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goal looked a bit too open when Remigiusz Kaczynski came free, but Elvio Osorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gortaty's Karol Kopacz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Baladi in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Elvio Osorio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Czeslaw Skrzypiec in the 79th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goal looked a bit too open when Czeslaw Skrzypiec came free, but Elvio Osorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th match minute, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Guerau to maneuver through the defense. Benedykt Siembab could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Elvio Osorio made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Olimpo de Bahia Blanca fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gortaty had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
