In the 11th minute of the match Durvalino Albuquerque sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lech Wolczewski skillfully saved the ball. Gocław Wilga Warszawa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Geraldo Schmidt scored to the left of an out of position Lech Wolczewski, making the score, 1-0. After 17 played minutes October 04 got a freekick which was hit by Tião Amaral. Durvalino Albuquerque could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Lech Wolczewski made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Emil Lenertej got a free kick in the 23rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roman Czerny in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hamílton Rezende saved October 04 from getting behind. Durvalino Albuquerque didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied.
