Quexal Raigal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Austral FC booed when Gutenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Jerrald didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Messia in the 10th minute of play forced Gutenberg's goalkeeper Sebastian Rojelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 minutes, Tiburcio Ovando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gutenberg and the Austral FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute, Tiburcio Ovando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Bernardo Abaurre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Austral FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Abaurre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Rojelio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the match, Austral FC's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Romo came free, but Quexal Raigal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Austral FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Lawrence came free, but Quexal Raigal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Santo Dominguez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Bernardo Abaurre hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Quexal Raigal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Peruanton in the 34th minute of play. Marcones Viesca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Austral FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Lawrence came free, but Quexal Raigal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Prudencio Romo notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Austral FC's Quexal Raigal. Quexal Raigal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Prudencio Romo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Quexal Raigal made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Santo Dominguez sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th match minute, Austral FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Papo Reigada to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match Santo Dominguez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Quexal Raigal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Prudencio Romo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Austral FC's Quexal Raigal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Austral FC's Quexal Raigal got control of the ball when Fausto Peruanton tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santo Dominguez got free with Quexal Raigal in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute, Prudencio Romo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Quexal Raigal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. A collision led to Austral FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Anxo Mieses hit a great ball. Aurelio Mattin's shot from long distance in the 73rd minute was not bad at all, but Austral FC's Quexal Raigal knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Fausto Peruanton scored 0-8 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Quexal Raigal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Austral FC's Quexal Raigal got control of the ball when Prudencio Romo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prudencio Romo got free with Quexal Raigal in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Austral FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Papo Reigada hit a great ball. In the 85th minute of the match, Cecilio Txordon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Quexal Raigal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Quexal Raigal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelio Mattin in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Austral FC's Quexal Raigal got control of the ball when Braulio Etxekopar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Quexal Raigal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Romo in the 93rd minute of play. Fausto Peruanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gutenberg's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
