Alvin Berg hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. When Ferdi van der Schaaf came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the De Pelgrims fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdi van der Schaaf couldn't finish the play. Med Gang FC's Sakarias Finnman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Med Gang FC from getting a goal against them. Med Gang FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Mickael Achterberg scored to the left of an out of position Sakarias Finnman, making the score, 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Med Gang FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mickael Achterberg came free, but Sakarias Finnman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mickael Achterberg took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sakarias Finnman. Sakarias Finnman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. A collision led to Med Gang FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Nils-Erik Allbom hit a great ball. With a little luck, Med Gang FC's Sakarias Finnman got control of the ball when Mickael Achterberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sakarias Finnman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Huub Nagel in the 31st minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Med Gang FC's goal looked a bit too open when Job van der Schans came free, but Sakarias Finnman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Med Gang FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvin Berg to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Huub Nagel got free with Sakarias Finnman in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Med Gang FC defense, Huub Nagel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sakarias Finnman. The Med Gang FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sakarias Finnman should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Huub Nagel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sakarias Finnman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mickael Achterberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Elbert Plescher was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Eric Lundqvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eric Lundqvist really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. With his leg Elbert Plescher managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Med Gang FC's Durlabha Durling fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sakarias Finnman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mickael Achterberg in the 69th minute of the match. After 69 minutes, Mickael Achterberg made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Med Gang FC's Sakarias Finnman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Durlabha Durling's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Elbert Plescher skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Ferdi van der Schaaf came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the De Pelgrims fans jumped to their feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Lundqvist in the 80th minute of play forced De Pelgrims's goalkeeper Elbert Plescher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Med Gang FC's Alvin Berg got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Sakarias Finnman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Huub Nagel, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Mickael Achterberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Sakarias Finnman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. De Pelgrims walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
