The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Válbson Gaúcho helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Espigão Steamrollers's Válbson Gaúcho got a free kick in the 5th minute. The supporters of Espigão Steamrollers booed when Oakham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Seah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rifqi Choo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 minutes, Iskandar Chian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oakham and the Espigão Steamrollers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Oakham's Iskandar Chian got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, Patrick Hermes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Sandro Trigo fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espigão Steamrollers's protests and gave Sandro Trigo a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes Espigão Steamrollers got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Trigo. In the 17th minute, Iskandar Laycock ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edinho Severo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Edinho Severo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Devan in the 29th minute of play. Oakham's Rifqi Choo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Mello in the 32nd minute of play. Iskandar Chian hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the game, Oakham's Mark Devan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edinho Severo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 43 played minutes Espigão Steamrollers got a freekick which was hit by Válbson Gaúcho. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Mark Devan sped through Espigão Steamrollers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edinho Severo. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some careless play in the Espigão Steamrollers defense, Mark Devan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edinho Severo. The Espigão Steamrollers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edinho Severo should have stopped the shot. The Espigão Steamrollers fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Espigão Steamrollers's Otávio Valadares looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rafa Saraiva charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafa Saraiva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Espigão Steamrollers's Rafa Saraiva got a free kick in the 69th minute. Mark Phua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mark Devan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edinho Severo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Hermes in the 78th minute of play forced Oakham's goalkeeper Rifqi Choo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Oakham's Mark Devan in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Espigão Steamrollers's goalie prevented a goal. Rifqi Choo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Hermes in the 86th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Oakham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darren Peng to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Rafa Saraiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Oakham had won after a very even match.
