Pierre-Emmanuel Voisin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Lázaro Cisco made a huge save. Lázaro Cisco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmed Grail, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With a little luck, Sirius Dog's Lázaro Cisco got control of the ball when Ahmed Grail tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thibaut Mazieres hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 17 played minutes, Sirius Dog's Erubiel Bartoleme shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sabri Fouquet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sirius Dog reached it. Sabri Fouquet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Matthew in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Darien in the 24th minute of play forced La Pointe Courte's goalkeeper Sabri Fouquet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Jean-Michel Blandin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lázaro Cisco. That made the score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. La Pointe Courte's Sabri Fouquet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Savion in the 38th minute of play. Thibaut Mazieres's late challenge caught a Sirius Dog's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thibaut Mazieres helped the player get up and apologised. Sirius Dog's Moises Bidari was substituted for Nicanor Ramos. In the 39th minute, Thibaut Mazieres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Zacarias Jakobe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sirius Dog's supporters rose to their feet, but Zacarias Jakobe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabri Fouquet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruperto Matthew scored 1-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sabri Fouquet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mathys Guigon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lázaro Cisco came out and tried to block the shot, but Mathys Guigon slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feliciano Darien to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Sirius Dog's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmed Grail came free, but Lázaro Cisco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabri Fouquet was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Feliciano Darien showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 57 minute of play. Tomás Garikoitz's late challenge caught a La Pointe Courte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Garikoitz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of La Pointe Courte booed when Sirius Dog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Garikoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Pointe Courte's Pierre-Antoine Charbonnel was substituted for Wilfried Mahé. After 67 played minutes Sirius Dog got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Garikoitz. In the 70th minute Ahmed Grail shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Cisco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raymond Lherbier during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sirius Dog booed when La Pointe Courte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymond Lherbier didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, one of La Pointe Courte:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Pointe Courte. The goalkeeper, Sabri Fouquet, was totally fooled by Sirius Dog's Erubiel Bartoleme, who 76 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 79 minutes into the game, Zacarias Jakobe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sabri Fouquet. Zacarias Jakobe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. Sabri Fouquet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Matthew in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Sirius Dog booed when La Pointe Courte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathys Guigon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sirius Dog's Zacarias Jakobe got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sirius Dog's Lázaro Cisco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmed Grail in the 95th minute of play. After 99 played minutes Sirius Dog got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Jakobe. The La Pointe Courte supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sirius Dog's performance. The match ended with a win for Sirius Dog.
