A collision led to Olympique Fribourg getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Remo Pürro hit a great ball. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Olympique Fribourg's goalkeeper Tristan Arioli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. August Ehrenbolger charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed August Ehrenbolger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Olympique Fribourg's August Ehrenbolger got a free kick in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Olympique Fribourg's zone, Juan-Román Riquelme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tristan Arioli came out of the goal and Juan-Román Riquelme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 12 minutes, Torben Propst managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympique Fribourg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torben Propst was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute Sergio Jerrold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Arioli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match, Paolo Bur tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Victoriano Eneto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Victoriano Eneto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remo Pürro in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Juan-Román Riquelme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olympique Fribourg the free kick. After a rather tough play, ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's Juan-Román Riquelme got a free kick in the 31st minute. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Olympique Fribourg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juan-Román Riquelme was slow to take the kick. During this time ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Juan-Román Riquelme almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Olympique Fribourg's Tristan Arioli did a great save. In the 37th minute Fabio Fiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Arioli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tristan Arioli came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's Fabio Fiz. But to his dismay, Fabio Fiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Tristan Arioli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmar Ubelteso's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Tristan Arioli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Ubelteso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delmar Ubelteso to make the kick off. The supporters of ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21 booed when Olympique Fribourg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torben Propst didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tristan Arioli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Jerrold in the 53rd minute of play. Tristan Arioli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Fiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Elia Delfs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympique Fribourg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabio Fiz got free with Tristan Arioli in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Fabio Fiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaston Librado kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's goal looked a bit too open when Remo Pürro came free, but Victoriano Eneto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86thth minute of the game Ben Zehnder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21's Victoriano Eneto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paolo Bur kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The supporters of ★ Idεɭcαp FC ツ★ u21 booed when Olympique Fribourg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benny Kaelin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olympique Fribourg walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
