João Leiva started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remo Pürro in the 4th minute of play forced Floresta Club U18's goalkeeper Hudson de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hudson de Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elia Delfs, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Hudson de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Errol Marbach in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to Floresta Club U18 getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Jardel da Silveira hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remo Pürro in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hudson de Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benny Kaelin during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute João Leiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Arioli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 played minutes Floresta Club U18 got a freekick which was hit by Jardel da Silveira. Omar Bünder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Floresta Club U18 defense, Elia Delfs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hudson de Souza. The Floresta Club U18 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hudson de Souza should have stopped the shot. After 26 played minutes Floresta Club U18 got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Cordeiro. The supporters of Olympique Fribourg booed when Floresta Club U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Floresta Club U18's goal looked a bit too open when Remo Pürro came free, but Hudson de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Valadares in the 34th minute of play forced Olympique Fribourg's goalkeeper Tristan Arioli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torben Propst hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Diogo Cordeiro from long distance, 41 minutes into the match, got Tristan Arioli's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remo Pürro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benny Kaelin got his second yellow card in the match during the 52nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Olympique Fribourg getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Benny Kaelin hit a great ball. Diogo Cordeiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tristan Arioli. Olympique Fribourg's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tristan Arioli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 57 played minutes Floresta Club U18 got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Peixoto. Olympique Fribourg's Elia Delfs got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Floresta Club U18's goal looked a bit too open when Errol Marbach came free, but Hudson de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Errol Marbach in the 67th minute of play forced Floresta Club U18's goalkeeper Hudson de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurício Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Luciano Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristan Arioli having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Leiva in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tristan Arioli saved Olympique Fribourg from getting behind. If Errol Marbach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tristan Arioli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Leiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute Elia Delfs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tristan Arioli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Leiva in the 85th minute of the match. Elia Delfs scored 1-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hudson de Souza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hudson de Souza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elia Delfs went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. If Elia Delfs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Diogo Cordeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Floresta Club U18 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Olympique Fribourg were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
