The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Floresta Club U18's Hudson de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quintus Melliger in the 25th minute of play. Tristan Arioli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Leiva's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 27thth minute of the game João Leiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olympique Fribourg's Tristan Arioli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Paolo Bur fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olympique Fribourg's protests and gave Paolo Bur a yellow card for diving instead. Floresta Club U18's Tarcisio de Sousa was substituted for Jardel da Silveira. In the 32nd minute, Paolo Bur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hudson de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quintus Melliger in the 35th minute of the match. Floresta Club U18's supporters rose to their feet, but João Leiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tristan Arioli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Floresta Club U18 booed when Olympique Fribourg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ben Zehnder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diogo Cordeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Ben Zehnder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olympique Fribourg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Floresta Club U18 the free kick. After 61 played minutes Olympique Fribourg got a freekick which was hit by Ben Zehnder. Tristan Arioli acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 62nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zeca Souto. 68 minutes into the match, Floresta Club U18's goal looked a bit too open when Quintus Melliger came free, but Hudson de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Leiva got free with Tristan Arioli in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Quintus Melliger kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Benny Kaelin's late challenge caught a Floresta Club U18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benny Kaelin helped the player get up and apologised. After 73 played minutes Olympique Fribourg got a freekick which was hit by Benny Kaelin. A hard shot by Diogo Cordeiro from long distance, 74 minutes into the match, got Tristan Arioli's attention. In the 76th minute, Errol Marbach ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hudson de Souza was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Hudson de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remo Pürro in the 79th minute of play. A hard shot 85 in the game by João Leiva from a close distance when the talented Tristan Arioli managed to make a qualified save. Olympique Fribourg's players were relieved. 87 minutes into the match, Floresta Club U18's goal looked a bit too open when Elia Delfs came free, but Hudson de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Floresta Club U18's Diogo Cordeiro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 89th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tristan Arioli but with some difficulty. In the 97th minute, Remo Pürro made a precise shot to the right of Hudson de Souza. Floresta Club U18's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Olympique Fribourg's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
