The referee ignored PREZULO FC's protests and gave César Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to PREZULO FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. César Cruz hit a great ball. PREZULO FC's César Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Virgílio Marquez scored 0-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernandez Barnuevo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgílio Marquez couldn't finish the play. Fernandez Barnuevo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Chaves in the 79th minute of the match.
