Dorinel Munteanu started the match with the kick off. 10 minutes into the match, Eduardo Urra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Narcis Coman. Granicerul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Urra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Narcis Coman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Urra in the 19th minute of play. Francisco Alberto Marull fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narcis Coman having to interfere. Alesandro Mac Millan in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Narcis Coman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Narcis Coman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alesandro Mac Millan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Spartans FC's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Geolgău came free, but Jorge Philippi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narcis Coman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Urra, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Leontin Neața charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leontin Neața the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leontin Neața hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Vicente Waddington hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Raimundo Marcou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorinel Munteanu struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Jorge Philippi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Granicerul. Jorge Philippi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toader Gabrea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narcis Coman came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Spartans FC's Alesandro Mac Millan. But to his dismay, Alesandro Mac Millan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alesandro Mac Millan made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Alesandro Mac Millan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Narcis Coman was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 54th minute, Spartans FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dorinel Munteanu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Granicerul:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Spartans FC:s goal. When Ioan Blidaru came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Granicerul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ioan Blidaru couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Spartans FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Raimundo Marcou hit a great ball. Narcis Coman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alesandro Mac Millan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Angel Lattapiat hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Narcis Coman came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Spartans FC's Eduardo Urra. But to his dismay, Eduardo Urra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Raimundo Marcou hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Alesandro Mac Millan put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Narcis Coman. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Spartans FC fully deserved thier win.
