After having played for 3 minutes, Willy Sauvestre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tours Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Willy Sauvestre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugo Toulet kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute of the game, Willy Sauvestre landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Nazario Riera's late challenge caught a Tours Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nazario Riera helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tours Football Club booed when Spartans FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nazario Riera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Toulet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Spartans FC's Francisco Beitia got a free kick in the 11th minute. Romeo Molinier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jorge Philippi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Nazario Riera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Raimundo Marcou got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Raimundo Marcou hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Jorge Philippi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Djimmy Leterme in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Tours Football Club getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Hugo Toulet hit a great ball. Joachim Migne tried in the 30th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Felix Jovanovic a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Spartans FC's Alesandro Mac Millan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Felix Jovanovic. That made the score 2-0 after 35 minutes of play. If Raimundo Marcou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alesandro Mac Millan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Philippi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matheo Mareau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Beitia hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Tours Football Club's Matheo Mareau got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Spartans FC's Raimundo Marcou got a free kick in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matheo Mareau to make the kick off. Tours Football Club's Felix Jovanovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alesandro Mac Millan in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute Spartans FC were awarded a corner. Francisco Beitia went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Tours Football Club's goalie and right to Adriano Sierralta. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Tours Football Club's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Sierralta in the 65th minute of play forced Tours Football Club's goalkeeper Felix Jovanovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Jovanovic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alesandro Mac Millan, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Spartans FC's zone, Djimmy Leterme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Philippi came out of the goal and Djimmy Leterme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Spartans FC booed when Tours Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Toulet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Philippi came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Tours Football Club's Jacques Audren. But to his dismay, Jacques Audren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 77th minute, Matheo Mareau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 80 minutes, Jacques Audren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tours Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacques Audren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matheo Mareau's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Jorge Philippi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Spartans FC's Jorge Philippi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Spartans FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matheo Mareau in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Philippi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With 91 minutes on the clock, Joachim Migne commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tours Football Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Spartans FC. Francisco Beitia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Felix Jovanovic. 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Spartans FC had won after a very even match.
