Spectators: 7706 (Terracing: 5781, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alesandro Mac Millan started the match with the kick off. Jorge Philippi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremias Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Jorge Philippi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UPTEXTIL.COM. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Pinheiro in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Philippi saved Spartans FC from getting behind. After 12 played minutes Spartans FC got a freekick which was hit by Alesandro Mac Millan. The crowd rose to their feet as Spartans FC's Raimundo Marcou slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. Jorge Philippi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Pinheiro in the 17th minute of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Baltazar Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UPTEXTIL.COM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baltazar Paraibano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of UPTEXTIL.COM booed when Spartans FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Marcou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Spartans FC's Jorge Philippi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Paraibano in the 24th minute of play. Baltazar Paraibano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dinei Proença charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dinei Proença the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes UPTEXTIL.COM got a freekick which was hit by Dinei Proença. Spartans FC's Francisco Beitia couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 28th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for UPTEXTIL.COM. UPTEXTIL.COM's Claudinei Botelho couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Spartans FC. The supporters of UPTEXTIL.COM booed when Spartans FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Waddington didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Philippi came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by UPTEXTIL.COM's Jeremias Pinheiro. But to his dismay, Jeremias Pinheiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeremias Pinheiro to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Spartans FC got a freekick which was hit by Alesandro Mac Millan. Jorge Philippi didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when UPTEXTIL.COM's Jeremias Pinheiro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Jeremias Pinheiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jorge Philippi came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeremias Pinheiro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 57th minute. Vicente Waddington spun around in front of the goal 60 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of UPTEXTIL.COM's goal. After a rather tough play, UPTEXTIL.COM's Baltazar Paraibano got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 65th minute of the match Francisco Beitia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to UPTEXTIL.COM getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ediberto Marinho hit a great ball. Francisco Beitia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho. UPTEXTIL.COM's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Spartans FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Marcou to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 70 minutes, Jeremias Pinheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 74th minute, Jeremias Pinheiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UPTEXTIL.COM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. UPTEXTIL.COM's Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Marcou in the 83rd minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Jeremias Pinheiro notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Spartans FC's Jorge Philippi. Jorge Philippi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched UPTEXTIL.COM eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
