Spectators: 7710 (Terracing: 5784, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dimitris Koudas took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Olympiacos FC got a freekick which was hit by Markos Kareklopoulos. 4 minutes into the match, Olympiacos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Quintán León came free, but Takis Nestoriou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olympiacos FC's Takis Nestoriou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quintán León in the 4th minute of play. Takis Nestoriou came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Lautaro L.P.'s Juan Jose Navarro. But to his dismay, Juan Jose Navarro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Nikiforos Valaoras kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Takis Nestoriou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Visen Berna in the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Quintán León dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Takis Nestoriou, 2-0. In the 18th minute Panos Loukas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xabier Frick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xabier Frick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexis Dellios in the 22nd minute of play. Xabier Frick didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dimitris Koudas went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 29th minute, Panos Papathomas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 35 minutes of play, Olympiacos FC's Dimitris Koudas made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xabier Frick was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute, Dimitris Koudas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympiacos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. The Lautaro L.P. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Olympiacos FC were winning 2-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Jose Navarro made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Olympiacos FC's Dimitris Koudas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. A collision led to Lautaro L.P. getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Juan Jose Navarro hit a great ball. Olympiacos FC's Miltiadis Tsiranidis was substituted for Grigoris Plexioudas. Olympiacos FC made a substitution. Kostas Tziolas replaced Alexis Dellios. After 58 played minutes Lautaro L.P. got a freekick which was hit by Juan Jose Navarro. Markos Kareklopoulos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Xabier Frick. Lautaro L.P.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kostas Tziolas scored 2-6 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xabier Frick, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Xabier Frick was a little too slow when Dimitris Koudas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 2-7. In the 67th match minute, Lautaro L.P. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Jose Navarro to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Lautaro L.P.'s Albert Madrid got a free kick in the 75th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Dimitris Koudas notched a goal, 2-8, to the right of Lautaro L.P.'s Xabier Frick. Xabier Frick was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kostas Tziolas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Xabier Frick made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Kostas Tziolas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olympiacos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kostas Tziolas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xabier Frick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Dimitris Koudas managed to get in a good position for a shot. The supporters of Olympiacos FC booed when Lautaro L.P. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Mesa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro L.P.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Dimitris Koudas scored to the left of an out of position Xabier Frick, making the score, 2-9. The Lautaro L.P. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Olympiacos FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
