Taco Zwartkruis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ravi Ninho, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th match minute, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joost Blommaart to maneuver through the defense. Ravi Ninho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Taco Zwartkruis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Ravi Ninho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Zwartkruis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Vergílio hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Ravi Ninho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Govert Kool was the one to do the kick off. Marcelo Vergílio kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Frederik Craandijk hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Julias Rascals Apeldoorn defense, Franklin Mendes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Taco Zwartkruis. The Julias Rascals Apeldoorn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Taco Zwartkruis should have stopped the shot. Taco Zwartkruis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ravi Ninho in the 66th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Meirelles got free with Taco Zwartkruis in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Erik Roelfs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's supporters rose to their feet, but Erik Roelfs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gil Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Govert Kool in the 72nd minute of the match. Taco Zwartkruis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ravi Ninho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franklin Mendes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ravi Ninho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd match minute, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederik Craandijk to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Julias Rascals Apeldoorn getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Joost Blommaart hit a great ball.
