Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Honoré Lottin hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Dolcet in the 11th minute of play forced R.C. Marseille's goalkeeper Auguste Lorre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mourad Martinez during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes R.C. Marseille got a freekick which was hit by Mourad Martinez. When Americo Dolcet fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dionisia's protests and gave Americo Dolcet a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Dionisia's Americo Dolcet got a free kick in the 14th minute. When Honoré Lottin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 15 minutes had been played. Honoré Lottin kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Adan Elequemedo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Auguste Lorre. R.C. Marseille's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Sugar in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Auguste Lorre saved R.C. Marseille from getting behind. 21 minutes into the game, Valentin Sugar lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Auguste Lorre. When Dionisia's Valentin Sugar in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye R.C. Marseille's goalie prevented a goal. In the 27th match minute, Dionisia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Lop to maneuver through the defense. If Americo Dolcet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niceto Tipi in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Auguste Lorre saved R.C. Marseille from getting behind. Blaise Castera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Abecia having to interfere. If Valentin Sugar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valentin Sugar to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Arnaldo Lop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. R.C. Marseille's Auguste Lorre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Elequemedo in the 62nd minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Blaise Castera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. R.C. Marseille's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blaise Castera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mourad Martinez struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Maximiliano Abecia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for R.C. Marseille. Auguste Lorre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Sugar, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Sugar in the 88th minute of play forced R.C. Marseille's goalkeeper Auguste Lorre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, R.C. Marseille's Ferdinand Cado got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 92 played minutes R.C. Marseille got a freekick which was hit by Quentin Escudié. In the 93rd minute of the match Godofredo Orlondo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Auguste Lorre skillfully saved the ball. The Dionisia players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
