After 8 played minutes Preator Edikt got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Magnusson. 9 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdi Dekens came free, but Josef Österlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson's late challenge caught a Zijdewind SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Preator Edikt's Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson got a free kick in the 11th minute. Pieter-Jan van der Laan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdi Dekens in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josef Österlund saved Preator Edikt from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Ferdi Dekens put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Josef Österlund. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdi Dekens in the 20th minute of play forced Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Josef Österlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zijdewind SC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Olof Östman 21 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Nils-Erik Sundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rein van Steensel having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Zijdewind SC's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson came free, but Rein van Steensel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The tension between the Zijdewind SC and the Preator Edikt players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wesley de Haan kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 41st minute of the match Mathias Mellin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rein van Steensel skillfully saved the ball. Pieter-Jan van der Laan struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Josef Österlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zijdewind SC. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferdi Dekens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mattias Magnusson hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 53 played minutes Zijdewind SC got a freekick which was hit by Ferdi Dekens. Rutger Holm kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Preator Edikt's Nils-Emil Fagrell got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Helge Bokelund struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Rein van Steensel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Preator Edikt. After 67 played minutes Zijdewind SC got a freekick which was hit by Rob Deiman. Wesley de Haan got his second yellow card in the match during the 69th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 71st minute Olof Östman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rein van Steensel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdi Dekens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Preator Edikt booed when Zijdewind SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin ten Rouwelaar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Preator Edikt's Mathias Mellin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Zijdewind SC. Zijdewind SC's Rein van Steensel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rutger Holm in the 77th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Ferdi Dekens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zijdewind SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdi Dekens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josef Österlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rein van Steensel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Östman in the 84th minute of play. Helge Bokelund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Preator Edikt's Nils-Erik Sundberg got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Helge Bokelund came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Preator Edikt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Helge Bokelund couldn't finish the play. After 96 minutes of play, Preator Edikt's Olof Östman made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rein van Steensel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Preator Edikt were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Zijdewind SC to leave the ground with a draw.
