In the 17thth minute of the game Frank Rosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pinhote FC's Delfim Prada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Delfim Prada was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Frank Rosa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Frank Rosa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 27th minute, Abel Paes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Delfim Prada. The goal made the score 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herberto Bento in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomé Mota saved Agua Santa from getting behind. 38 minutes into the match, Pinhote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Abreu came free, but Delfim Prada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delfim Prada made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Enrique Abreu sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute, Frank Rosa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Delfim Prada. The goal made the score 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Abreu got free with Delfim Prada in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Herberto Bento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Delfim Prada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Abreu in the 57th minute of play. The Agua Santa fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pinhote FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
