A collision led to Aro FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Orvar Östlund hit a great ball. After 5 minutes of play, Pinhote FC's Herberto Bento made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christoffer Andersson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ingemar Lindgren came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Delfim Prada could save by the left post. 11 minutes into the game, Baltasar Saraiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pinhote FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aro FC the free kick. In the 13th minute, Ture Kristiansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, Aro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Saraiva came free, but Christoffer Andersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pinhote FC's Delfim Prada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Esbjörnsson in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ture Kristiansson in the 28th minute of play forced Pinhote FC's goalkeeper Delfim Prada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Ture Kristiansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Prada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Miguel Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Alberto Domingos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinhote FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Domingos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christoffer Andersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Pinhote FC booed when Aro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magne Tidéksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Pinhote FC fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Pinhote FC's Herberto Bento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ingemar Lindgren was the one to do the kick off. Christoffer Andersson made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Baltasar Saraiva sent off a good shot on target. Christoffer Andersson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Baltasar Saraiva showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 53 minute of play. After some careless play in the Pinhote FC defense, Ture Kristiansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delfim Prada. The Pinhote FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delfim Prada should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivo Lages during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st minute, Ivo Lages hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Domingos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tord Burman's late challenge caught a Pinhote FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tord Burman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, Aro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tord Burman to maneuver through the defense. When Herberto Bento came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Pinhote FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herberto Bento couldn't finish the play. Baltasar Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Aro FC's Ture Kristiansson got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Christoffer Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Saraiva in the 86th minute of play. Christoffer Andersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Domingos in the 88th minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Ingemar Lindgren made a precise shot to the right of Delfim Prada. Pinhote FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Aro FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
