The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Liverpool F.C. Zeledon Fagondo made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Vladimiros Lagonikakis sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Liverpool F.C. YNWA getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Nikitas Roussakis hit a great ball. The supporters of Liverpool F.C. YNWA booed when Cavallino Rampante II was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiros Kaklamanakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Romano, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 48 minutes into the match, Vladimiros Lagonikakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Fagondo. Cavallino Rampante II's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vladimiros Lagonikakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fondas Gaitanos made a kick off. If Vladimiros Lagonikakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cavallino Rampante II's Zeledon Fagondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fondas Gaitanos in the 62nd minute of play. After having played for 65 minutes, Silvestre Dimas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cavallino Rampante II's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvestre Dimas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fivos Zachakis kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes Albino Romano scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Vladimiros Kaklamanakos who was too lazy, 1-1. Zeledon Fagondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fondas Gaitanos in the 74th minute of play. Cavallino Rampante II's Zeledon Fagondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fondas Gaitanos in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Liverpool F.C. YNWA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ntinos Chatzas to maneuver through the defense. After 83 minutes of play, Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Vladimiros Lagonikakis made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Fagondo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th match minute, Cavallino Rampante II was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Hermelando to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Liverpool F.C. YNWA fully deserved thier win.
