They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Luís Eduardo Rossi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Lions FC. Aron Billström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Luís Eduardo Rossi made a huge save. When Joel Rezende fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coice de Mula's protests and gave Joel Rezende a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Coice de Mula getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Joel Rezende hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fiori Teles during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 65 played minutes Coice de Mula got a freekick which was hit by Fiori Teles. Svante Sigman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Luís Eduardo Rossi made a huge save. The supporters of Golden Lions FC booed when Coice de Mula was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jardel Mula didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jardel Mula came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Coice de Mula fans jumped to their feet.
