Santo Beat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Pedroso having to interfere. A collision led to Andarilhos getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jacinto Castanheira hit a great ball. Santo Beat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filipe Pedroso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to C. A. Potrero getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Celso Oliveiro hit a great ball. The long shot by Henrique Laureano in the 32nd minute really tested Pablo Acevedo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Tinoco during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pablo Acevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sálvio Malta's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 60th minute Leandro Campelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Acevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Andarilhos's goalkeeper Filipe Pedroso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pablo Acevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sálvio Malta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filipe Pedroso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niceto Lehior in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Andarilhos's zone, Cesar Gora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Pedroso came out of the goal and Cesar Gora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Raimundo Sal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute, Isidoro Birjaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Raimundo Sal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Herberto Vilar scored 2-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pablo Acevedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pablo Acevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sálvio Malta in the 82nd minute of the match. Niceto Lehior struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Filipe Pedroso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Potrero. Serafino Geofredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Filipe Pedroso made a huge save. 88 minutes into the match, C. A. Potrero's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Campelo came free, but Pablo Acevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Castanheira kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Many of C. A. Potrero's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. C. A. Potrero may have spent more time on the ball, but Andarilhos were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
