Le Stade Briochin UC's John-David Édouard got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 14 played minutes Le Stade Briochin UC got a freekick which was hit by Wilfried Pinson. After 17 played minutes Fc S.Zaharesti got a freekick which was hit by Nae Scripcaru. The supporters of Fc S.Zaharesti booed when Le Stade Briochin UC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfried Pinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doru Popoiu in the 25th minute of play forced Le Stade Briochin UC's goalkeeper Jérémy Coutier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jérémy Coutier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Claudiescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constantin Aluneanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Grancher, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Horaţiu Bălace hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Bernard Grancher left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Le Stade Briochin UC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 44 minutes into the match, Marin Claudiescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jérémy Coutier. Le Stade Briochin UC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marin Claudiescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Constantin Aluneanu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Georges Ravat showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 47 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Georges Ravat to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Le Stade Briochin UC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georges Ravat to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Georges Ravat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Constantin Aluneanu. Fc S.Zaharesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Georges Ravat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Le Stade Briochin UC's Freddy Blond was substituted for John-David Édouard. Wilfried Pinson hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After 67 played minutes Le Stade Briochin UC got a freekick which was hit by Wilfried Pinson. Constantin Aluneanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georges Ravat, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 79th minute, Freddy Blond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Le Stade Briochin UC's goalkeeper Jérémy Coutier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Liviu Săvescu. Doru Popoiu had several of the Le Stade Briochin UC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 82 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-3 score and a disappointed Jérémy Coutier as he didn't even see the shot coming. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Georges Ravat in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Constantin Aluneanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilfried Pinson hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Fc S.Zaharesti were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
