In the 5thth minute of the game Serafino Geofredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but O rey Iván's Bruno Ritchie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Geofredo in the 14th minute of play forced O rey Iván's goalkeeper Bruno Ritchie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, O rey Iván's Leandro Mederi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Benito Dei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Pablo Acevedo made a huge save. Bruno Ritchie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafino Geofredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Maraman in the 35th minute of play forced O rey Iván's goalkeeper Bruno Ritchie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Serafino Geofredo made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Ritchie. O rey Iván's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After the first half C. A. Potrero were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horacio Txaran during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 51 played minutes O rey Iván got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Txaran. Augusto Burni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Acevedo having to interfere. Bruno Ritchie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafino Geofredo in the 59th minute of play. Bruno Ritchie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafino Geofredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Segundo Maraman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C. A. Potrero's Santo Beat got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. C. A. Potrero were furious when Celso Oliveiro was red carded, 70 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 77th minute, Benito Dei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesar Gora during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pablo Acevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Dei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Dei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, O rey Iván's Bruno Ritchie got control of the ball when Segundo Maraman tried to sneak it across the goal line. C. A. Potrero played a much better game than O rey Iván and deserved their victory. The O rey Iván players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
