Buritama Sports's Gilberto Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonas Buožius in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Pedro Augusto Fontes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Einaras Bagdžiūnas. Savage Hippo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Augusto Fontes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A collision led to Savage Hippo getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Nerijus Narkūnas hit a great ball. Savage Hippo's Einaras Bagdžiūnas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Décio Quirino in the 24th minute of play. Nerijus Narkūnas hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Nerijus Narkūnas scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilberto Paraense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Einaras Bagdžiūnas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th match minute, Savage Hippo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narūnas Turauskas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nerijus Narkūnas in the 39th minute of play forced Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Gilberto Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albinas Navikas, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Albinas Navikas kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Savage Hippo's Albinas Navikas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gilberto Paraense. Gilberto Paraense yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 61st match minute, Buritama Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hortêncio Salgado to maneuver through the defense. Einaras Bagdžiūnas came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Buritama Sports's Dedê Britto. But to his dismay, Dedê Britto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Nerijus Narkūnas was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Savage Hippo's Nerijus Narkūnas got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Pedro Augusto Fontes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Savage Hippo's Einaras Bagdžiūnas didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Augusto Fontes in the 72nd minute of play forced Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Einaras Bagdžiūnas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 played minutes Savage Hippo got a freekick which was hit by Motiejus Pumputis. A collision led to Savage Hippo getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Algimantas Zakaras hit a great ball. Luisão dos Santos struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Einaras Bagdžiūnas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buritama Sports. 84 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's goal looked a bit too open when Décio Quirino came free, but Einaras Bagdžiūnas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Pedro Augusto Fontes notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Savage Hippo's Einaras Bagdžiūnas. Einaras Bagdžiūnas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute, Pedro Augusto Fontes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Einaras Bagdžiūnas was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Gilberto Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Motiejus Pumputis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
