Gilberto Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ief Van den Berghe in the 3rd minute of the match. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Buritama Sports's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guy Van Eeckhout was slow to take the kick. During this time Invictus FC's players had a chance to rest. 5 minutes into the match, Buritama Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Ief Van den Berghe came free, but Gilberto Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johny Godefroid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilberto Paraense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ief Van den Berghe's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Buritama Sports's Túlio Peixoto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Richard Widdepenninck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 15 played minutes Buritama Sports got a freekick which was hit by Décio Quirino. Guy Van Eeckhout took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gilberto Paraense. Buritama Sports's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ief Van den Berghe in the 17th minute of play forced Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Gilberto Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johny Godefroid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Buritama Sports getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. André Luís Salgado hit a great ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Gilberto Paraense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, one of Invictus FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Buritama Sports a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dedé Camargo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Invictus FC's Richard Widdepenninck. 2-0. Décio Quirino succeeded in the game's 30th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johny Godefroid in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Paraense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes into the match, Invictus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Túlio Peixoto came free, but Richard Widdepenninck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 played minutes Invictus FC got a freekick which was hit by Bobby Thielens. A hard shot by Dedé Camargo from long distance, 41 minutes into the match, got Richard Widdepenninck's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Johny Godefroid to strike the kick off in the second half. Ief Van den Berghe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Gilberto Paraense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bram Huyghebaert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richard Widdepenninck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Túlio Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Buritama Sports's attack was well implemented in the 69th minute, but when Túlio Peixoto was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Léo Campidelis hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Johny Godefroid could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Gilberto Paraense made a huge save. In the 79th match minute, Buritama Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Túlio Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Invictus FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Sylvan Van Schoorisse hit a great ball. Maurus De Muysere hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Buritama Sports's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
