The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Buritama Sports got a freekick which was hit by Túlio Peixoto. In the 8th match minute, Buritama Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Túlio Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the F.C internazionale defense, Décio Quirino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esen Ağın. The F.C internazionale fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esen Ağın should have stopped the shot. Gilberto Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uğuralp Pamiroğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Buritama Sports's Léo Campidelis got a free kick in the 15th minute. The supporters of Buritama Sports booed when F.C internazionale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şemsettin Oğuzer didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Buritama Sports getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Pedro Augusto Fontes hit a great ball. F.C internazionale's Esen Ağın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sydney Rosa in the 26th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Şenel Çetinel during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Şenel Çetinel kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Uğuralp Pamiroğlu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gilberto Paraense came out and tried to block the shot, but Uğuralp Pamiroğlu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 31st minute. The Buritama Sports fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Buritama Sports's Décio Quirino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 42 minutes, José Pedro Tróia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buritama Sports and the F.C internazionale players grew even worse after the yellow card. 41 minutes into the game, one of Buritama Sports:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gilberto Paraense had in the 43rdth minute some difficulties stopping Akil Akdemirci's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

F.C internazionale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdullah Eryaman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The F.C internazionale supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Buritama Sports's performance. The match ended with a win for Buritama Sports.
