Einaras Bagdžiūnas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Baert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Invictus FC's Richard Widdepenninck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaunius Aleksa in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 17 minutes, Johny Godefroid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Invictus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johny Godefroid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teo Baert's late challenge caught a Savage Hippo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teo Baert helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Teo Baert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Widdepenninck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurgis Balčaitis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jaunius Aleksa came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Savage Hippo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaunius Aleksa couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Savage Hippo booed when Invictus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurus De Muysere didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teo Baert in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Einaras Bagdžiūnas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johny Godefroid got free with Einaras Bagdžiūnas in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaunius Aleksa in the 39th minute of play forced Invictus FC's goalkeeper Richard Widdepenninck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johny Godefroid to make the kick off. Jaunius Aleksa took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Widdepenninck. Richard Widdepenninck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Savage Hippo's Einaras Bagdžiūnas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Baert in the 54th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Savage Hippo's Jaunius Aleksa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Richard Widdepenninck. Richard Widdepenninck yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Savage Hippo's Einaras Bagdžiūnas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Baert in the 74th minute of play. Jaunius Aleksa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Richard Widdepenninck made a huge save. In the 80th minute, Jaunius Aleksa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Savage Hippo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Savage Hippo's Einaras Bagdžiūnas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johny Godefroid in the 83rd minute of play. Alvydas Gabriūnas kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Thys Hulsen kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Jaunius Aleksa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Richard Widdepenninck. The goal made the score 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaunius Aleksa in the 92nd minute of play forced Invictus FC's goalkeeper Richard Widdepenninck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Invictus FC's Sylvan Van Schoorisse got a free kick in the 93rd minute. A collision led to Savage Hippo getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Alvydas Gabriūnas hit a great ball.
