The crowd rose to their feet as Amauri Romero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zacarias Lucila. That made the score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. Zacarias Lucila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauri Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amauri Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Garrapatita Futbol getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Jeronimo George hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Garrapatita Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Amauri Romero came free, but Zacarias Lucila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zacarias Lucila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enéas Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 35 played minutes, Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Felippe Amaral shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zacarias Lucila came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Sacode Football CIMZ reached it. Zacarias Lucila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Fernandez in the 36th minute of the match. Anselmo Sindo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haroldo Pitta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Fidel Mundo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Haroldo Pitta was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 45th minute, Anselmo Sindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the game, Enéas Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Sacode Football CIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garrapatita Futbol the free kick. After 47 played minutes Club Sacode Football CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Enéas Andrade. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Anselmo Sindo made the kick off in the second half. Fidel Mundo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Haroldo Pitta made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Garrapatita Futbol's zone, Benedito Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Lucila came out of the goal and Benedito Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zacarias Lucila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Luz in the 56th minute of play. Zacarias Lucila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeronimo George charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeronimo George the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Garrapatita Futbol getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jeronimo George hit a great ball. The supporters of Club Sacode Football CIMZ booed when Garrapatita Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. The audience was convinced that Amauri Romero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zacarias Lucila was relentless in the 68th minute of the game.
