Fidel Mundo scored 2-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lino Naelio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zacarias Lucila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Caton in the 35th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Lino Naelio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fidel Mundo got free with Lino Naelio in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvano Baleren couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anselmo Sindo to make the kick off. Silvano Baleren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Zacarias Lucila made a huge save. 57 minutes into the match, Garrapatita Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Caton came free, but Zacarias Lucila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garrapatita Futbol's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
