Garrapatita Futbol's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Melchor Montes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zacarias Lucila having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Elivareo in the 27th minute of play forced Garrapatita Futbol's goalkeeper Zacarias Lucila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Melchor Montes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unidad de Matanza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. German Dolfos hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. When Luciano Elivareo came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Unidad de Matanza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Elivareo couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anselmo Sindo to make the kick off. Christian Amaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Sindo in the 51st minute of the match. When Primitivo Boniel fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garrapatita Futbol's protests and gave Primitivo Boniel a yellow card for diving instead. Primitivo Boniel hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Zacarias Lucila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Fero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Elivareo got free with Zacarias Lucila in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the game, Luciano Elivareo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Zacarias Lucila was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Fidel Mundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garrapatita Futbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Mundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Amaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 70 played minutes Unidad de Matanza got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Elivareo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fidel Mundo during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fidel Mundo hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The nice shot from Gerardo Inko in the 76thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Zacarias Lucila had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. If Melchor Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luciano Elivareo took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zacarias Lucila. Zacarias Lucila dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Hugo Afonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th match minute, Garrapatita Futbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo George to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Evelio Pudes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeronimo George's late challenge caught a Unidad de Matanza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeronimo George helped the player get up and apologised. Jeronimo George hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Evelio Pudes struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Zacarias Lucila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unidad de Matanza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Sindo in the 92nd minute of play forced Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Christian Amaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Garrapatita Futbol's Zacarias Lucila got control of the ball when Isidro Fero tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th minute, Fidel Mundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
