After 3 minutes of play, FC MANLE's Hüsnü Garipbaş made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kyriakos Vardis was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ntinos Samaras during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC MANLE booed when GREEN LIONS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigoris Bertsis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kyriakos Vardis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raşit Hendekli in the 31st minute of the match. Alexis Kouloucheris made in the 38th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Odysseas Kasapoglou however managed to control. Eleftherios Fasoulas came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Şadi Turhan could save by the left post. 40 minutes into the game, İsmail Orhun Cantekin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC MANLE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GREEN LIONS the free kick. Odysseas Kasapoglou made in the 42nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Andreas Seremetiadis.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Grigoris Bertsis to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eleftherios Fasoulas in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şadi Turhan saved FC MANLE from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Eleftherios Fasoulas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Şadi Turhan was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Raşit Hendekli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, FC MANLE's goal looked a bit too open when Grigoris Bertsis came free, but Şadi Turhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Halil Utku Suerkan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, GREEN LIONS's Odysseas Kasapoglou got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 70th match minute, GREEN LIONS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleftherios Fasoulas to maneuver through the defense. Raşit Hendekli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Grigoris Bertsis sped through FC MANLE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Şadi Turhan. In the 79th minute, Raşit Hendekli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kyriakos Vardis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After 82 played minutes FC MANLE got a freekick which was hit by Raşit Hendekli. Şadi Turhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigoris Bertsis, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Eleftherios Fasoulas got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 87th minute, Eleftherios Fasoulas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andreas Seremetiadis kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Raşit Hendekli's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kyriakos Vardis firmly grabbed it by the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC MANLE walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
