Spectators: 7668 (Terracing: 5751, Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 153) Isaac Esdras started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chacarita Jrs's goalkeeper Domingo Diaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Per-Olof Walroth made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Fernando Cefero sent off a good shot on target. After 7 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Hjalmar Ahlén. Domingo Diaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Rosen in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute Strömsbro IF were awarded a corner. Bernt Löfskog went to the cornerflag to take it. Sebastian Rosen was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Domingo Diaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Billberg in the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Chacarita Jrs's Fernando Cefero got a free kick in the 18th minute. Domingo Diaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Billberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 played minutes Strömsbro IF got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Billberg. After having played for 33 minutes, Sebastian Rosen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strömsbro IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Rosen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Strömsbro IF's Rune Thidén got a free kick in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Esdras in the 35th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Per-Olof Walroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ivan Billberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Domingo Diaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Billberg in the 37th minute of play. Oskar Pihlgren hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Domingo Diaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Billberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Sebastian Rosen made the kick off in the second half. When Rune Thidén fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Strömsbro IF's protests and gave Rune Thidén a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd minute, Rune Thidén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute Bonifacio Esdras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Olof Walroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chacarita Jrs were furious when Niceto Martinez was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Chacarita Jrs:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Strömsbro IF:s goal. Domingo Diaz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rune Thidén. Rune Thidén kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of Chacarita Jrs booed when Strömsbro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskar Pihlgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Strömsbro IF's Ivan Billberg got a free kick in the 98th minute. Strömsbro IF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
