After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Henrik Gorges managed to get in a good position for a shot. Conrado Guillelmus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Conrado Guillelmus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pepe Kißling in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Lutz Ertel notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Justicialista FC's Conrado Guillelmus. Conrado Guillelmus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Justicialista FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Mateo Frechoso hit a great ball. Conrado Guillelmus came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Hertha 1969's Otto-Stephan Keck. But to his dismay, Otto-Stephan Keck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 19th minute Generoso Leobardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoph Heise saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Hertha 1969 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pepe Kißling to maneuver through the defense. Hertha 1969's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Honorato Lobo scored to the left of an out of position Christoph Heise, making the score, 1-2. Burkhard Männer charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Burkhard Männer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Hertha 1969 got a freekick which was hit by Burkhard Männer. Alonzo Arnau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Christoph Heise tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justicialista FC's Conrado Guillelmus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto-Stephan Keck in the 37th minute of play. Conrado Guillelmus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lothar Bannert, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Henrik Gorges hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sascha Meinhardt during the 42nd minute. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Quinton couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Lutz Ertel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Conrado Guillelmus. That made the score 2-3 in the 65 minute of play. Lutz Ertel took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conrado Guillelmus. Conrado Guillelmus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hertha 1969 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
