Spectators: 7736 (Terracing: 5803, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) FC FORZA MARTIRE's Sergo Hakk started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Henrik Gorges notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC FORZA MARTIRE's Timo Agar. Timo Agar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Hertha 1969's Eric Michelberger got a free kick in the 9th minute. With a little luck, Hertha 1969's Christoph Heise got control of the ball when Hendrik Kaldvee tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Hertha 1969 booed when FC FORZA MARTIRE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergo Hakk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christoph Heise showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermo Pärnaku in the 21st minute of the match. Christoph Heise took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergo Hakk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th play minute Ermo Pärnaku came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Christoph Heise. 1-2. In the 33rd minute, Edmund Lill reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Christoph Heise. The goal made the score 2-2. Hertha 1969's Christoph Heise proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Hertha 1969 from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the game, Ermo Pärnaku recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christoph Heise. Ermo Pärnaku showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Christoph Heise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergo Hakk in the 42nd minute of play. With a little luck, Hertha 1969's Christoph Heise got control of the ball when Hendrik Kaldvee tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute, FC FORZA MARTIRE's Tarmo Lauter seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tarmo Lauter the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC FORZA MARTIRE protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tarmo Lauter had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Lutz Ertel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hertha 1969's supporters rose to their feet, but Lutz Ertel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timo Agar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Otto-Stephan Keck made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ermo Pärnaku in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christoph Heise prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC FORZA MARTIRE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ermo Pärnaku in the 58th minute. FC FORZA MARTIRE's Ermo Pärnaku was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Christoph Heise in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Hendrik Kaldvee fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC FORZA MARTIRE's protests and gave Hendrik Kaldvee a yellow card for diving instead. Otto-Stephan Keck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hertha 1969 made a substitution. Andi Godescheid replaced Pepe Kißling. Sergo Hakk's late challenge caught a Hertha 1969's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sergo Hakk helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes FC FORZA MARTIRE got a freekick which was hit by Sergo Hakk. Lothar Bannert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermo Pärnaku in the 70th minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Christoph Heise to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 minutes, Henrik Gorges mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hertha 1969 and the FC FORZA MARTIRE players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 played minutes Hertha 1969 got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Gorges. Christoph Heise took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hendrik Kaldvee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC FORZA MARTIRE's Timo Agar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto-Stephan Keck in the 76th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC FORZA MARTIRE defense, Lutz Ertel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Timo Agar. The FC FORZA MARTIRE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Timo Agar should have stopped the shot. FC FORZA MARTIRE's Timo Agar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save FC FORZA MARTIRE from getting a goal against them.
