After 4 minutes, Vasco Simões mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viseu United and the FFC Merainies 03 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Viseu United's Vasco Simões got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute, Koos de Kort made a precise shot to the right of Inácio Leite. Viseu United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Inácio Leite made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Koos de Kort sent off a good shot on target. Viseu United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Twan Tieleman scored to the left of an out of position Inácio Leite, making the score, 2-0. Inácio Leite didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nigel Willemse went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Jochem Maes hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Rui Veiga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bertus Waldijk. FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Koos de Kort could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Inácio Leite made a huge save. Koos de Kort's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Inácio Leite skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nigel Willemse received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Inácio Leite came out and tried to block the shot, but Nigel Willemse slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 22nd minute. Inácio Leite came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by FFC Merainies 03's Nigel Willemse. But to his dismay, Nigel Willemse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 30th minute, FFC Merainies 03's René van Hintum dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. A collision led to FFC Merainies 03 getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Arnold Boer hit a great ball. Nigel Willemse succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 7-0 in the 38th playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koos de Kort in the 43rd minute of play forced Viseu United's goalkeeper Inácio Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.
The supporters of FFC Merainies 03 booed when Viseu United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Endrick Charlton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 51 played minutes, FFC Merainies 03's Gerrie Höhenstein shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Inácio Leite came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FFC Merainies 03 reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nigel Willemse in the 52nd minute of play forced Viseu United's goalkeeper Inácio Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inácio Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Twan Tieleman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Koos de Kort ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inácio Leite was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Inácio Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nigel Willemse in the 59th minute of play. Alexandre Vilas Boas's late challenge caught a FFC Merainies 03's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Vilas Boas helped the player get up and apologised. 65 minutes into the match, Nigel Willemse notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Viseu United's Inácio Leite. Inácio Leite was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 68th minute, Viseu United's Tobias Júdice ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bertus Waldijk. Bertus Waldijk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 9-1. 74 minutes into the match, Nigel Willemse notched a goal, 10-1, to the right of Viseu United's Inácio Leite. Inácio Leite was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Inácio Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Twan Tieleman, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Endrick Charlton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Nigel Willemse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inácio Leite was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-1. In the 87th minute, Koos de Kort left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FFC Merainies 03 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-1. Inácio Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koos de Kort in the 90th minute of play. FFC Merainies 03's Bertus Waldijk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Endrick Charlton in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th match minute, FFC Merainies 03 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by René van Hintum to maneuver through the defense. FFC Merainies 03's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
